See ya Jay… you friggin’ whiner! Denver’s got some Hope & Change! And, unlike the nationalized “Hope-n-Change,” I buying this Hope & Change because there’s substance behind it.

I am happy to see the Broncos moved quickly with this trade. I am also pleased with what they got in return. Baby Jay heads to da’ Bears (with a 5th rounder) and the Donkeys pick up two 1st rounders, a 3rd rounder, and Kyle Orton.

I’ve heard a lot of…. WTF?!? Kyle friggin’ Orton? Seriously, this is our new quarterback? Oh god, travesty! We suck! Fire Jay McDaniels! I’m never watching a Broncos game again! Somebody call the President and have Pat Bowlen fired (yes, I can’t make this up, this statement was actually made in public) because The One can do better than Pat!

K, the first problem with being a QB in Denver is that you’re in Denver. Until you win three thousand Super Bowls, “you suck, John Elway for President!” (I do not endorse this view, however, given the current administration…)

Now, everyone in Denver thinks the Donkeys will win the Super Bowl every year. Please… are you even paying attention? In store for the Broncos this fall…

A new playbook on offense, a defense is being completely revamped from 4-3 to 3-4, Brandon Marshall and trouble keep hookin’ up like a drunken booty call, salary caps, and one of the toughest schedules in football for the ’09 season.

Do people really think Jay Cutler can overcome all these obstacles and bring the team to the playoffs? If you say anything but no, you’re wrong. Trade in your football gene and go to a Rockies game, Todd Helton is ready to carry the team to the World Series.

Jay Cutler in incapable of “managing” a football game. He can’t see past his “my arm is stronger than Elway” and “I’m better than Brett Farve” ego. His whining over the past couple of months is clinical proof that ego and self esteem are unrelated. The only thing that comes from a big head is big tears. Baby Jay seems to think that he’s a gift to football and is untouchable. We’ll you’ve been touched in the ass with Jay McDaniel’s foot. There’s the door, bitch…

Jay now has to contend with -10 wind chills, no receivers, and a run first offense. I predict da Bears will rank in the top five in “Dropped Balls” next season. Yeah, Jay’s got a gun, but when Lake Michigan kicks up her nastiness, he’ll be hucking more bowling balls than Pete Weber on a Saturday night. And we all know receivers, the Mr. Glass of football players (with apologies to Eddie Mac), won’t have anything to do with a 15-pound Brunswick chucked at their head.

Kyle Orton is perfect for a Jay McDaniels’ offense…manage the game, lots of dumps underneath, 8 yards at a time, chew up the clock, 1st down, 1st down, 1st down (see NE Patriots).

I live in reality and did not expect the Broncos to do much better than 7-9 this year, with the cry baby or without. Wouldn’t surprise me to see 5-11 or 6-10. That just means another high draft pick in 2010. Patience children…

I am not the only one happy about this move…even strippers know a good deal when they see it…

Today’s tale of a whiny, overpaid, spoiled sports celebrity comes from the Denver Broncos. Po’r widdle Jay…

The free agency extravaganza and flea market began last week. There has been a lot of money getting tossed around like its falling out of Warren Buffet’s pockets. Big name players are jumping to new teams in a game called “show me the money” or “my loyalty can be bought.”

There have been trades too. Some good ones, mostly just role players getting rolled. It happens, its business. It professional sports…comes with the business of game.

But, in Bronco country…QB Jay Cutler’s name was mentioned in some possible trades. Little Jay’s feelings were hurt… he was “shocked!” Jay’s had his head swell a little too much this year. Self generated comparisons to John Elway and Brett Favre… uhh, yeah, not so fast, Trigger…you haven’t won a damn thing yet.

Hey, Jay…you are a professional athlete in a kids’ game. You are not a person in the business, you are a commodity. It ain’t the first time a team’s “star” was shipped out… loyalty to a team or to a player is a rare deal.

Instead of whining about your new coach and GM and how your feelings were hurt, buck up and prove to them that you are simply untouchable…I’m thinking Peyton, Big Ben, or Brady here. Step it up big guy…

Until then, everyone is trade bait. This is a TEAM and a BUSINESS. The team’s business is to WIN. It’s bigger than one guy…any move that brings a team closer to winning the big game is a good move.

Oh…and Philip Rivers called. He’s laughing at you…
