So, do you judge a book by its cover?  Do you judge a reader by their book?

Books have been a source of influence and inspiration since Gutenberg began his printing business way back in the day.  How many books have you read to change your relationships, your business, your thinking, your anything?  With each word, our thoughts, opinions, and passions are shaped.  Our decision making is then shaped further.

Now…consider these images:

There’s Sarah, holding Mark Levin’s Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto.  I am currently reading this book myself.  It is a wonderful explanation of the Statist principles (big government) and the Founding Fathers’ desire for limited government (personal freedom).  The premise of the Declaration of Independence is to create a nation where individuals are free to pursue life, liberty, and happiness.  From what did the Founders want to be free?  No, not religion.  Freedom from government.

Now… here is Dear Leader…

obamazakaria

He’s reading Fareed Zakaria’s The Post-American World.  The basic argument of the book is that we’ve lost our “groove” as a country and the rest of the world is going to surpass us as the world leader.  We’ve lost our groove because there is a growing faction in our society that are “looters” who believe its their right to take from the prosperous and successful, which are the very engines that made this country great.  Now, Obama is taking various steps which will continue to force us to the back seat of world leadership.

I want a leader that believes in our country and what makes it great.  I want them to respect the principles on which the United States was founded.  I want them to view the Bill of Rights as the greatest set of personal freedoms the world has seen, not as an obstacle to create an oppressive, bloated government.  I want them to recognize that you cannot build up others by tearing something down.

Ultimately, there has been sign after telling sign that Barrack Obama is a radical leftist who believes America is inherently evil and needs to be punished.  He has stated he wants to “fundamentally change America.”  His actions continue to reveal his true identity and he becomes more monstrous as time goes on.

I just hope the damage isn’t too great by the time the 2010 elections come.  The so called Blue Dogs are getting feed up with the Socialist agenda, this is a good thing.  Obama’s political capital is spent and he doesn’t have enough history to run a line of credit.

It will be very difficult for me to hold back whenever I have an opportunity to say…”I told ya so…”

OK…time for my $0.02 regarding Sarah Palin.

Of course, the left is jumping all over this as the end of Caribou Barbie…”see, we knew she wasn’t cut out for this.”  Again, media fail.  They just don’t understand the world outside of New York, Los Angeles, or DC.

Oh, and before you spout off about quitting before the end of her term.  Think about this… Dear Leader was on the campaign trail in March of 2007.  A mere two years after being elected to the Senate.  In case you are unaware, a Senate term is six yearsSo Barry quit his post to campaign with four years to go…

Here’s my thought…

Sarah may make a run at Murkowski’s Senate seat.  Who knows what kind of conversations they’ve had.  Murkowski may be ready to step out or, step aside until Begich comes up for re-election and take him out.

Come into the Senate, kick some spend and tax ass and show the country that she means business.  I’m thinking she’s making a Prez run in 2020…

She has integrity enough to give up the post in actuality to campaign.  You can’t govern while campaigning.

Who knows… but all the bullshit the left is babbling about is a result of their losing a target to pick on, and they don’t like not having a target for their hate.

eminem and sarah palin…

April 10, 2009

OK…this is a lesson in hypocrisy. Yes, Eminem is only looking for attention.  He’s all about creating controversy so people will look at him.  I do listen to Eminem, and I like the music.  At times, ol’ Marshal Mathers is a little over the edge.  There are many targets in Eminem’s music, including this song, [...]
